Apple has fed the high expectations, with promises by executives that the company's top product pipeline in 25 years is being prepared inside its facilities. That's a high bar for a company whose hit devices include the iPod, the tablet PC, the smartphone, and the modern, graphic-based personal computer.
Those devices were created under the eye of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, who passed away in 2011. When current CEO Tim Cook steps up to the stage on Tuesday, technology junkies, investors, and rival companies will be watching to see if Jobs has picked up were his predecessor left off or if Apple's streak of hit devices is coming to an end.
"We think Apple's pipeline is finally going to satisfy those who have wondered if the company has any new products. The stock price has been rallying as investors are beginning to believe that Tim Cook all along was telling the truth that there is an incredible pipeline of products," said Michael Yoshikami, CEO of Destination Wealth Management, according to Reuters.
Here are some of the key products to watch out for during Apple's big event:
"iWatch":
Rumors have circulated from multiple media outlets for years, but now Apple fans may finally find out if the company is ready to release its first wearble device. The watch will supposedly come in two sizes, double as an electronic wallet, display messages, have a flexible screen, and track its wearer's fitness and health.
The watch isn't expected to hit stores until 2015, and Apple may not even reveal how much the device will cost. Most believe the company will at least have the device on hand to get fans excited for an eventual release.
"The market has been waiting for Apple's product as the real category-defining product," said FBN Securities analyst Shebly Seyfari.
Samsung and Google have already entered the smatwatch market, so it will be interesting to see what Apple has come up with officially. The name of the device hasn't even been confirmed, though multiple analysts have said the "iWatch" title is a safe bet.
iPhone 6:
Smartphones are considered Apple's bread-and-butter, as they represent more than half of its revenue. The company is expected to unveil not one, but two models with bigger screens, wireless payment options, and sleeker designs.
The iPhone 6 will be released with 5.5-inch or 4.7-inch screen sizes, which is a big increase from the current models' 4-inch screens.
A number of media outlets have speculated that phones will come with extra-tough screens made from scratch resistant sapphire material, though Apple hasn't confirmed anything yet.
Both devices will run on iOS 8.
Health:
Apple launched its "HealthKit" service earlier this year, making it clear that the company wants its products to help users manage personal health information. Apple is expected to incorporate the HealthKit service into the iPhone 6 and provide sensors capable of monitoring physical movements and heart rates with its new smartwatch.
Mobile Wallet:
Apple has reached deals with a number of major credit card providers like MasterCard, American Express, and Visa. The partnership, along with a special communication chip within the new iPhone and smartwatch, would let users buy everything from jeans to food, simply by using their Apple device.
Surprises are also expected, as some analysts believe a bigger iPad could also be unveiled during the event.

Apple's video stream is limited to users running Safari (version 5.1.10 or later) on Mac OS X (10.6.8 or later) or iOS (6.0 or later) and those with a third-generation Apple TV (running software 6.2 or later), according to Mashable.
