With Apple's iPhone 6 event just days away, the upcoming smartphone has reportedly gone up for pre-order in China by China Telecom.
The telecom operator posted a pre-order page on Sept. 5, which contains high-quality press renders images of the highly-anticipated smartphone device, along with a few select specifications, as reported by ZDNET.
The images reveal the iPhone from one side, showing a redesigned longer volume buttons and silent keys, which are in-line with previously leaked images of the phone.
The carrier page also provided choices between 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone 6 devices.
The pre-order listing didn't include a price for either device, but mentioned specifications like an upgraded 3-megapixel front camera, a better touch ID, and a powerful quad-core A8 chip.
Devices will also come with a longer lasting 2,100 mAh battery, according to the report.
It's important to note that the carrier also shared similar listings before the launch of iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C in 2013. The iPhone 5C listing turned out to be false.
China Mobile started taking reservations earlier this week for two iPhone 6 devices. The pre-order page that listed the iPhone 6 at China Mobile's site didn't mention the term iPhone 6 however, but did showcase the Apple logo with a 6 stamped on it.
The page also showed two phones, sized at 4.7-inches and 5.5.-inches. China Mobile had received 8,000 as of press time, according to NDTV Gadgets.
Both rumored size options for the next iPhone will likely feature an iPod touch-inspired design, a new Apple A8 SoC, 1GB of RAM, NFC connectively, and Touch ID fingerprint sensor.
Multiple media outlets have reported the iPhone 6 will reach shelves around Sep. 19, since Apple normally sends out new phones 10 days after its debut.
