The Next Ferrari F12 Version To be Powered by 800 HP V12 Engine

Speculations are coming out on what the successor of the Ferrari F12 will be and reports of leaks and spy shots are adding more interest in the upcoming Ferrari 12 model. Most of the sources agree that the successor car will be called Ferrari 12M and it will be powered by a monstrous 800 HP V12.

According to Car Buzz, the upcoming Ferrari M has been seen driven and videoed in Maranello, Italy and details about the car are now slowly circulating. Many of the rumors seem to be coming out of Ferrari Chat Forum, a favorite chat room for Ferrari followers.

One of the post claims that the name of the new Ferrari successor will be the Ferrari 152 M 04 V12 sport and also reports that the engine to power the car will be the known V12 6.5-liter biggie that can generate 800 hp and 718 lb-ft of torque. With that power, The upcoming Ferrari M can easily reach 60 miles per hour in less than three seconds and hit 124 mph at a time of a less than 8 seconds.

The report sounds authentic since it allegedly came from private sources at Ferrari's Fiona race track. In appearance, the Ferrari F12M appears to be "very aggressive" in the front end compared to the much simpler style at the back.

The reported descriptions of the outside appearance of the F12M suggest that it will be a powerful looking car. This is just what a car powered by an 800 hp engine should look like, lots of power under the hood and aggressively poised on the outside.

There are comments that the car will be faster than the F12tdf and its outside appearance will outshine the F12 Berlinetta. Additional features mentioned are the all wheel steering capability and the new dual clutch transmission that makes shifting significantly faster.

The F12M will be introduced at the 87th Geneva International Motor Show. The Ferrari F12M is a most anticipated Ferrari F12 car because it is expected to be a more powerful version with the 800 hp V12 engine.
