Following the successful launch of their products and receiving the Best of the Best award in the CES 2017, LG seems unstoppable with their new LG 4K Blu-Ray Disc Player. Presenting the new LG UP970, providing a spectacular viewing experience.

Aside from the 4K Blu-Ray Disc Playback, the LG UP970 will also carry the 3D Blu-Ray/ DVD Playback. It achieves the superior-quality color and HDR or High Dynamic Range making it an Ultra HD Premium.

According to Tech Radar, although most UHD players like Sony and Panasonic also carry the HDR10, what sets LG UP970 apart is having the Dolby Vision format.  Users will have an amazing visual experience as they watch their favorite movies.

Its connectivity features include the 2 HDMI ports, the Ultra video output, and the audio output. It also supports and is compatible with a variety of sound formats like the Dolby True HD, Atmos, and DTS-HD Master Audio.

Another product highlight is the 4K Streaming Content, Built in WIFI, and its integrated access to all 4K Youtube and Netflix video. These are apart from the usual 4K Blu-Ray Disc Player features like 3D, SIMPLINK, USB Playback, Noise Reduction and NTSC-PAL Conversion.

It is expected that movie fanatics will anticipate its release and as of now, interested buyers are asking if they can pre-order in their website.

However, 4K.com mentioned that LG has yet to announce the pricing details and confirm if indeed it will be released by March 2017. It is expected that it might cost more than it's competitor, the Samsung UBD-K8500 which is sold at $200.
