The unfortunate fiasco that happened to Note 7's battery explosion has made smartphone manufacturers extremely mindful of its safety features especially that of its batteries. LG is one of the first manufacturers to take notice and pride itself for prioritizing safety before anything else. The LG G6, the manufacturer's upcoming flagship phone is guaranteed never to explode because of tests and technologies it has been subjected to.
Though its predecessor did not do any good in the market, the LG G6 is expected to at least be better in terms of design and aesthetics. This is one of its consideration, but safety always comes first. The LG G6 is expected to do well in the market compared to the G5 because of its safety features.
According to BGR, the Korean manufacturer is adopting new technology and an even tougher safety tests to ensure that the upcoming flagship won't have any problems at all. LG will be using what they call the "heat pipes" made of copper to disperse internal heat so overheating batteries will significantly be reduced.
To further its safety measures, LG also will have a special design that keeps parts prone to heating up at a distance. This means the heat will not be concentrated in one area. To add, LG also is conducting series of tests to test the limits and saturation point of the upcoming mobile device. It will be subjected to repeated drops and exposure to high voltages.

The tests of LG G6 would involve a temperature 15 percent higher than the temperature set by standards of US and Europe. This is definitely something to keep potential buyers safe and sound at all times when using the device.
As added by Tech Radar, the LG G6 is set to be officially released and introduced to the market on Feb. 2017 during the Mobile World Congress. The intense and rigorous safety tests will surely be the highlight of the show.
The LG G6 is sure to be one of the safest, if not the safest device upon its release. However, an updated luxurious look and either a glass or metal body are also good considerations to purchase the upcoming smartphone.
