Mitsubishi has announced that its 2015 Outlander small crossover will be available for a base price of $24,045.
The price includes an $850 shipping fee.
The new price reflects a $200 price increase compared to the 2014 model, according to the automaker.
The midrange 2015 Outlander GT starts at $25,045, including the standard shipping fee. The top-of-the-line 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander GT starts at $29,045.
The 2015 model will only come with minor changes, as the 2014 Outlander was redesigned from top to bottom.
They include a new standard leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, new upper front grille design and improved sound insulation in the cabin.
Mitsubishi's $2,600 SE Premium package features: leather seating surfaces, black roof rails, a Rockford Fosgate premium sound system and a power sunroof.
An available $6,100 GT Touring package features like a adaptive cruise control, a power remote tailgate, and a navigation system.
The Outlander competes with similar vehicles like the 2014-'15 Dodge Journey, Kia Sorento and Hyundai Santa Fe Sport, and others.
Interested customers can expect the new 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander to reach dealerships by this summer.
