The 2015 Land Rover LR4 SUV has a starting price of $51,325, which includes $925 in shipping fees.
The latest model, which reflects a $700 price rise compared with the 2014 version, should be featured soon at American dealerships, Edmunds.com reported. The 2015 Land Rover comes in four new exterior colors: Aruba, Kaikoura Stone, Montalcino Red and a new metallic white called Yulong, the last of which will be available later in the model year.
For wheels on the 2015 LR4, buyers have an additional option: "a new five-split spoke forged alloy wheel with a light silver polished finish," according to Edmunds.
The LR4 competes with the 2014-'15 Acura MDX, BMW X5, Lexus GX and Volkswagen Touareg.
In the midrange, the 2015 LR4 HSE starts at $56,225, while the fully optioned 2015 LR4 HSE LUX starts at $61,525, according to Edmunds.
The 2015 version is a carryover model, featuring the new powertrain from the 2014 update, which received a supercharged V6 engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The new LR4 has more luxury options, including Ebony/Cirrus dual-tone Windsor leather seats and wood- and leather-wrapped steering wheel. Besides new exterior paints and interior touches, the 2015 LR4 has greater connectivity with with Land Rover InControl Apps and smartphone integration that is compatible with both Android and iOS.
