It's Facebook's 10th birthday, and the billion-dollar social network has gifts--for you, its users.
During the last few months, a team at Facebook has been working to create personalized videos for most of the site's 1.2 billion members, CNN reported.
In a 62-second clip, you can see some highlights of your Facebook career, including posts with the most likes and a random selection of photos. To find yours, go to Facebook/lookback.
Facebook created the videos with an automated tool to make them available for members who use the site in English, Spanish, Italian, German, French, Turkish, Indonesian and Brazilian Portuguese, a Facebook spokesperson told CNN.
The company rolled out the clips, called "A Look Back," on Tuesday in honor of the site's decade status. Facebook was founded by Mark Zuckerberg and four classmates at Harvard University on Feb. 4, 2004, according to CNN.
The personalized videos will be available for a month and then will disappear if users don't share them on their timelines. The clips can also be edited through an "Edit Your Movie" button just in case it includes statuses or photos you don't want to share.
Zuckerberg wrote a special post in honor of the day and published it--where else?--on Facebook.
"It's been an amazing journey so far, and I'm so grateful to be a part of it, Zuckerberg said. "People often ask if I always knew that Facebook would become what it is today. No way."
The post included both a reminiscent look back at the company's creation and a resolution to move forward with the site.
"I remember getting pizza with my friends one night in college shortly after opening Facebook," Zuckerberg recalled. "I told them I was excited to help connect our school community, but one day someone needed to connect the whole world."
The 29-year-old CEO hopes to accomplish that international goal in the next 10 years of Facebook.
"Today, only one-third of the world's population has access to the internet," he wrote. "In the next decade, we have the opportunity and the responsibility to connect the other two-thirds."
Zuckerberg closed by detailing some of the ways that Facebook has kept people connected.
"It's been amazing to see how all of you have used our tools to build a real community," he wrote. "You've shared the happy moments and the painful ones. You've started new families, and kept spread out families connected ... I'm so grateful to be able to help build these tools for you."
