Thousands of angry fans have already signed a petition to try convincing Fox and "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane to bring back Brian Griffin, the show's beloved talking-dog whose (spoilers) death stunned millions viewers this weekend.
Brian, whose character was voiced by MacFarlane himself, was killed off in the episode "Life of Brian," after being hit by a car as he prepared to play street hockey with his pal Stewie Griffin.
At press time, a petition on Change.org has with over 33,000 signatures from fans who are hoping to convince MacFarlane and Fox to bring Brian back.

Brian had been a major character since the pilot of "Family Guy" aired back in 1999, appearing in over 200 episodes.
The show is based around Peter Griffin, his wife Lois, teenage children Meg and Chris, and maniacal baby Stewie. For many however, despite being a dog, Brian was the most relatable character on the show.
"You've given me a wonderful life. I love you all," Brian said to the Griffin family and to viewers this weekend.
It didn't take the family long to replace Brian, as they adopted a new, Italian-American dog named Vinny before the episode ended. The dog, voiced by "The Sopranos" actor Tony Sirico, quickly won over the entire family, but the show's loyal fans aren't buying in just yet.
