The Renault Captur is one of Europe's bestselling urban crossovers in 2016. It was able to reach unit sales over 215,670. Now, the company has reinvented the model to feature more distinctive styling and advanced technologies, without sacrificing any of its user-friendliness that is represented by the 2018 Renault Captur.
The all-new Captur builds on the model's original success, which includes the striking two-tone color scheme with three of its new body colors, the Atacama Orange, Ocean Blue and Amethyst Black that is the Initiale Paris version. A new Platine Grey option is also available for the roof. There are also more than 30 potential combinations that customers can choose to tailor on their New Captur that suits their personal desires.
This new model is also offered in six different interior customization packs in Ivory, Caramel, Red, Ocean Blue, Patina Chrome and Satin Chrome. The complemented five customization packs includes the Ivory, Ocean Blue, Cappuccino, Red and Atacama Orange for a colored touch on door inserts lower protection and wheel cabochon.
The brand's French design continues in the 2018 Renault Captur. It is equipped with a Full-LED Pure Vision front lights technology that enhances the car's image and safety side while at the same time reduces the glare. At the bottom part of the bumper, the model incorporates a C-shaped LED Daytime Running Lights that becomes emblematic of the Renault lighting signature.
As to the rear lights, it includes a hallmark that is visible both at night and day. Meanwhile, there are six different petrol, and diesel powertrains offered that allow its customers to specify the configuration that most closely meets their requirements.
The two diesel power plants available for Captur is the DCI 90 that is mated to either an automatic transmission or a manual gearbox, and the DCI 110 paired with a manual gearbox. Both are equipped with the stop and start technology along with a system that recovers the energy from braking and deceleration. The engines can deliver over 110hp at 4,000rpm and torque over 260Nm at 1,750rpm.
Energy Tce 90 and Tce 120 are the two available petrol engines for the 2018 Renault Captur. The Tce 90 is only available in the manual while the Tce 120 is available both in manual and automatic.
