The 2017 Vauxhall Crossland X is currently on sale now. The automaker is offering five engine options and with five various trim levels. The new vehicle is the smallest model in the lineup of its "X" crossover.
The 2017 Vauxhall Crossland X is reportedly the smallest model for its series. It is the brand's replacement for the old Meriva MPV. With regards to price and size, it lies under the existing Mokka X.

Due to its size and design, the automaker claims the 2017 Vauxhall Crossland X can be considered more of a CUV (Crossover Utility Vehicle), than an SUV. The distinct designs pointing to a CUV are its high bonnet, roof rails, large headlamps and the muscular front bumper.
In addition, design boss Mark Adams detailed to Auto Express that the new CUV is especially different from the Mokka X because of its low shoulders, high roofline, and extensive glasshouse that form part of its traditional people carrier personality. Adams also mentioned that the larger glass area and lowered window line provide a more spacious look in the new CUV than that of the Mokka X.
The 2017 Vauxhall Crossland X has been designed to have a shape that will maximize interior space. The goal of the design is to achieve practicality and functionality of an MPV, without discounting the image of a robust SUV.
Orders are now accepted for the 2017 Vauxhall Crossland X. The entry-level SE trim carries a $21,455 (£16,555) price tag. It runs with a 1.2-liter, three-cylinder petrol engine that can deliver 80 bhp. It comes with a 7-inch color touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth and the brand's OnStar suite of connectivity features.
The standard Crossland X is equipped with cruise control, automatic wipers and dual-zone climate control. It also comes with 16-inch alloy wheels and daytime running LED signature lights.
The second trim option is the SE Nav model of the new Crossland X which costs $22,300 (£17,225). It offers a bigger 8-inch color touchscreen infotainment system, equipped with satellite navigation and voice controls.
Another trim option is the Tech Line Nav model with a $21,600 (£16,650) price tag. The additional features are rear parking sensors, extra styling refreshes, and the Flex Floor boot floor system.
The other two trim options are the top of the range, the Elite and Elite Nav models. The Elite model, priced at $23,000 (£17,755) features a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with ambient LED lighting. This model comes more stylish with its color-contrasting roof, 17-inch alloy wheels, and extra styling refreshes like contrasting mirrors and the alloy-like front and rear skid plate. Whereas, the Elite Nav model comes with a huge 8-inch touchscreen with satellite navigation and carries a $23,900 (£18,455) price tag.
Furthermore, the other two petrol engine options are the 1.2-liter 108 bhp that costs $23,200 (£17,875) and the top of the line petrol engine with 128 bhp capacity that costs $23,700 (£18,290).
Meanwhile, the 2017 Vauxhall Crossland X is also being offered in two diesel engine options. Buyers can choose from the 1.6-liter 98bhp variant that costs $24,250 (£18,715) or the higher version with 118 bhp capacity that costs $25,400 (£19,575).
