The New York Motor Show is expected to open its doors later this week and its floors will be graced by the Mona Lisa of car engineering, none other than the Bugatti Chiron. Despite the fact that the car debuted last year, this brilliant piece of automotive genius is still a glory to behold in real life.
There is something about the Chiron that makes it pleasing to the eyes. Even looking at the car's specs sheet and poring over its ridiculous numbers is pure joy. On top of that is the fact that only ridiculously rich people can buy it, thanks to its $2.6 million price tag, makes it a must-see for car show goers, according to The Verge.
Speaking of numbers, the Chiron packs an 8-liter W16 quad-turbocharged engine under its hood. This engine is not entirely new but Bugatti made sure that all the proper upgrades were made in order to make it stand on top of the rest.

The engine can pump 1479bhp and 1600Nm of torque. Just like its hallowed predecessor, the Veyron, the Chiron's body structure is made entirely of carbon fiber. It also packs independent suspensions and Haldex AWD. The Chiron may look like a tamed beauty when on display, but the car is a raging beast when on the road. It has broken countless speed records and will continue to do so in the years to come.
The Bugatti Chiron is considered not just as an engineering marvel, but as a piece of art as well. For the next nine days, the Javits Center located in midtown Manhattan will be its gallery where people will gaze upon its beauty and marvel how Bugatti was able to throw almost everything that is attractive and powerful into a four-wheeled masterpiece.
