The title of the fastest car ever bearing a Tesla badge is currently owned by the Model S. However, it is widely known in the motoring community that this title will soon be handed over to the new-generation 2019 Tesla Roadster once it hits the road.
The Tesla Roadster is a concept car which is expected to hit the market next year. The car has been the subject of a lot of discussions, especially when Tesla chief executive officer Elon Musk tweeted that it will be the fastest Tesla car ever. The hype surrounding the 2019 Tesla Roadster is immense.
Despite the massive attention the car is garnering, Tesla has yet to reveal what the car will actually look like. This is where Peisirt Design comes in. Peisert Design came up with his own concept art of the upcoming 2019 Tesla Roadster P100D.
The concept design looks immaculate and gorgeous. The design is riddled with futuristic cues combined with hints of muscle style design, something that should tell onlookers of the amount of power under the car's hood. The concept art was done using the Toyota FT-1 Concept as a basis.
In an interview with Inverse, the man behind the concept art Jan Peisert said, "Musk is a visionary person, way ahead of the industry, and it fascinates me a lot to see what's next on his agenda."
Currently, the fastest Tesla car is the Model S P100D which set a record zero to 60mph sprint in just 2.28 seconds while running in Ludicrous Plus mode. It is still a big mystery as to how Tesla will beat this already impressive record. Nevertheless, this is Tesla we are talking about. If they believe they can send a man to Mars, they can sure outdo the Model S P100D.
