Samsung just recently launched its flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S8. It is now time for people to get excited over Apple's answer to the S8, the iPhone 8. It is expected to be even better than ever than all iPhones produced. Just when Samsung went all out with its latest mobile device, Apple may have been doing as much especially that the iPhone 8 is considered the 10th-anniversary edition of the iPhone.
Apple is expected to remove the dedicated home button from the bottom bezel which is something that is widely used by Android devices. The iPhone 8 is late in doing this but it may have more tricks up its sleeve. With this said, the fingerprint sensor may still be found where it is originally located. Samsung placed the fingerprint sensor at the back to give way to more display utilization.
Besides, who would want to use the fingerprint scanner when the there is an iris scanner in place? There is also a face recognition system to unlock the mobile device so fingerprint scanner may not be too necessary. As for the iPhone 8, it is believed to keep it where it is.

In connection to this, the fingerprint scanner/sensor may receive the latest technology for iPhone 8 as it is reported to have more elegant idea for biometric security. Though no specific official news or leaks link it for having an iris scanner or facial recognition technology, it may come with a beefed up and a different style of its TouchID sensor. It is reported to make use of discrete ultrasonic transducers which is still on the display.
This year marks an excellent year for mobile device technology. The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Apple's anniversary phone, the iPhone 8 may be the best devices both tech giants may and already produce. The Samsung Galaxy S8 is Samsung's answer to the Note 7 issue from last year so they went all out for people to move on from that debacle and focus on the latest one. On the other hand, 10 years of iPhone is indeed nostalgic so Apple is expected to have the best technology to beat the S8 and to celebrate 10 glorious years.
