Finally! Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ is officially launched which ends all leaks and rumors that have been making the rounds on social media and the Internet for such a long time! Now is the time to bask in the glory that the S8 and S8+ are sure to deliver.

According to Gadgets 360, during the event, the company focused on Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ as the "start of the new era." Well, Samsung also has its answer to Siri, its voice-based virtual assistant called Bixby. The S8 will come with preinstalled apps which would work seamlessly with Bixby.

The S8 is also equipped with biometric recognition which scans the iris to unlock the phone, verify Samsung account, and much more. Samsung has certainly beefed up its security features because of this. The world should've been amazed about this feature as this was present in the Note 7, but now is the perfect time to completely move on (for those who still have not).

The Samsung Galaxy S8 features a 5.8-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED display while the S8+ comes with 6.2-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED display which Samsung is calling the Infinity Display. Both devices have 12-megapixel Dual Pixel rear camera with optical image stabilization and an f/1.7 aperture. The front facing camera is an 8-megapixel with autofocus and having the same aperture.

It is powered by the latest Snapdragon 835 SoC for the one's available in the US, while the rest would come with Exynos 8895 SoC. Both the S8 and S8+ will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage. This is sure to provide uninterrupted and unhampered multitasking tasks.

From the site Tech Radar, the confirmed release date will be on April 21, 2017 in the U.S. and April 28 for the rest including the United Kingdom. Good news is both devices can already be pre-ordered and will be available by delivery on April 20.

It is good to know that such devices are officially introduced to the market. With the event finally over, Samsung's power and reputation may remain to be the best in spite of its gaffe from last year. The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ plus will surely take the world by storm.
