Porsche concept cars are one of the most popular vehicles in every auto show. It is considered as the much awaited and spectacular among fast cars. Here are some of the most iconic ones and forerunners of some of its existing concept cars.
Porsche Type 754 T7. First identified in the line-up is the Porsche Type 754 T7, reported by Carbuzz. Manufactured in 1959, the Porsche Type 74 T7 was created by Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, and was the forerunner of the Porsche 911, said Car Museum. Because Ferdinand Porsche was not partial to a four-seater, it didn't go into production. However, the Type 74 T7 design was later modified to a two-seater with a long fastback, a popular feature of Porsche cars.

1988 Porsche 989 Concept. Following the Type 74 T7 is the 1988 Porsche 989 Concept. According to High Snobiety, the 989 concept was the first serious attempt of Porsche to produce a four-seater sports car. The concept was shelved but the four-door sports car concept was revived in the Porsche Panamera in 2009. Cayenne Cabriolet Concept. Porsche's Cayenne Cabriolet Concept was unveiled for the very first time in this video. Considered a bizarre but amazing concept by Varga, the Cayenne is an SUV which is a combination of a Cayenne and a Cabriolet. The typical roll bar is featured in this, a mainstay for later Porsche models. Even the concept of a convertible Cayenne SUV was mentioned by Autoguide. 918 Spyder Concept. The Porsche 918 Spyder Concept was presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 2010. It was the first hybrid electric car that merged brilliant design with the demands of the environmental economy.

Porsche Mission E. Lastly, the Porsche Mission E is the car that carries the design DNA for Porsche electric cars in the future, said the two Porsche designers. Varga said the car is also a first in the seamless integration of smartphones and smart watches. Fast charging is also present: 80% engine charging in just 15 minutes.
