The 2018 Toyota Camry made its debut at the Detroit Auto Show last January and everyone has been talking about it since then. It is considered one of the best Toyota has ever made and is sure to bring in tough competition to other sedans of its kind. Toyota is known the world over for producing good quality vehicles and the 2018 Camry is yet another impressive addition.
According to Kelley Blue Book, the 2018 Toyota Camry comes redesigned. Toyota did well in dispelling rumors saying that the latest Camry may be safe and boring, but good. Yes, it is indeed good and even better. It comes with an edgier look and more expressive exterior. The front comes with new two-piece grille with character lines from the nose to the A-pillar.
Its new platform also permits a lower beltline, larger glass area, and leaner exterior. There is definitely nothing boring with this and it is obvious that the giant Japanese car manufacturer went on overtime to come up with such design. The overall height has also been increased by an inch compared to its predecessor. More than anything else, the additional inch makes for more space especially its headroom.
There are also four trim levels for the new sedan each with its own characteristics. These are the LE, XLE, SE, and XSE. Both the SE and XSE come with sculpted rocker panels, subtle rear spoiler, more aggressive front bumper and rear fascia with a diffuser. The XSE comes with a 19-inch black machined finish alloy wheels.
Not only does the 2018 Toyota Camry have additional inch for its height, it is also longer which translates to more legroom. It has 2.0-inch longer wheelbase for more interior space and the design surely matches that of its exterior. Toyota has increased the amount of soft-touch surfaces and premium materials on the dash, instrument panel, center console, and doors.

The latest Camry also introduces Toyota's Entune 3.0 multimedia system. This system features navigation and App Suite Connect for everyone. This certainly promises more entertaining experience while inside an impressively spacious cabin.
The latest Toyota sedan also has two new engines with the front-drive Camry having an all-new 2.5-liter four-cylinder and 3.5-liter V-6 mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. These two engines come with direct injection which makes for increased power and improved fuel economy. However, the Toyota Camry Hybrid will be the leader in fuel economy because of its 2.5-liter four-cylinder backed by CVT and electric motor.
More than anything else, this sedan promises not only comfort and convenience but also the all-important safety. It is important to have peace of mind while on the road and the latest Camry is fully equipped with this. According to Car and Driver, this impressive sedan will come with Toyota Safety Sense system equipped with a pre-collision warning with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning with steering assist, automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, and backup camera.
These are all present in all 2018 Toyota Camry. However, blind-spot monitoring and cross-traffic alert are available in some models. Having all of these features, it is easy to understand why this sedan is considered one of the best. Not only does it provide a tough competition to other sedans, the SUV market is also reported to be threatened.
