Exocraft. If you give "No Man's Sky" another chance, you might be pleased to find out that the Path Finder update includes not just one but 3 all-terrain buggies suitable for various purposes, but overall makes planet exploration far easier than it was prior to the update. Plus, they can be summoned from anywhere on the planet they were constructed upon, according to TrustedReviews.
You get the Colossus which is a largest of the 3 but offers the most cargo space, a hovercraft named Nomad which glides over surfaces but lacks in cargo space, and of course Roamer, an all-terrain buggy than can adapt in most situations. You can also customize them according to your taste and it totally feels like "an interplanetary version of Grand Theft Auto."
Permadeath. Offering the greatest challenge to date is Permadeath wherein consequences of death are definitely absolute, as dying in space will take you farther from your ship and will land you to the nearest plant. It adds one life limit to Survival mode but includes trophies for those who make it to the center.
Base sharing and photo mode. Explore what other players have been building with the Path Finder update in "No Man's Sky." Thanks to the Steam Workshop Integration, you share your work or you visit one planet and discover someone else' base. However, your progress will not be saved while in another base. It basically allows you to experience being in another player's work.
Kotaku reports that the Reddit thread of "No Man's Sky" is filled with photos using the new photo mode. You can find the perfect angle of the camera, change the time of day, re-position the sun, go into third-person mode and showcase your Starship, and use new photo filters. Don't forget to share this with the community, too.
PlayStation 4 Pro support. Visual improvements have also been added for both PS4 Pro and PC. Now, you can play the intergalactic space adventure game in 4K resolution and it has never looked better.
