Dodge has just released a teaser clip revealing the Uconnect infotainment system of the upcoming Dodge Demon. This intelligent infotainment system allows drivers to customize performance and record his driving stats as well.
The clip features the Performance Page of the infotainment system where the real-time displays for torque and horsepower can be spotted. Other data reflected on the page are the reaction, g-forces, times for 0-60 mph, 0-100 mph and eighth-mile and the quarter-mile elapse time and speed.
Aside from showing the real-time data, the new Uconnect infotainment system also serves as a recorder of the driver's performance. The new system allows recording of data generated so the driver can document his performance and improve his skills.
Furthermore, the Performance Page not only show the driver's performance, it also helps alert the owner on the status of the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon. The system displays significant vitals like the engine oil pressure and temperature, supercharger intercooler coolant temperature, transmission fluid temperature, coolant temperature, air-fuel ratio, battery voltage, intake air temperature, and boost pressure.
Moreover, the Performance Page features a driving mode selector which allows the driver to choose from Auto, Drag and Custom modes. The Auto mode is fit for street driving. The Drag mode is for sophisticated driving, whereas the Custom mode allows the driver to combine any setting from the Auto and Drag modes.
Meanwhile, it is also interesting to note that the teaser clip also shows the "7:57" at the top of the Performance Page. Does it hint on the new Dodge's horsepower rating?
