Three of the hottest and most talked about mobile devices: Nokia 3310, Samsung Galaxy S7 and iPhone 7 dropped from an insane 1,000 feet! The video is a very interesting representation of how these three devices did after such an exaggerated drop. To the amazement of most, all three survived, bruised but survived!
During day-to-day activities, most of the time mobile phones take the hardest hit as it gets accidentally dropped. However, it is quite intense for the mobile phone to be dropped from 1,000 feet unless if one is about to jump off an airplane or is about to be launched for bungee jumping. But given the extreme test, it only shows that these devices mean business and will stay alive even during the toughest of times and situations.
According to The Verge, the iPhone 7, aside from its ability to withstand such drop as shown in the video is also water-resistant. However, there is a big difference between water-resistant and waterproof. It does have the ability to survive slight accidental liquid splashing, even some dust exposure but it won't survive if it accidentally drops in the sink or pool.
The iPhone 7 is one advanced phone as it is packed with features and specs that may even be unmatched by its competition. To add to its advanced feature is the fact that it is one tough device just like Samsung Galaxy S7 and Nokia 3310 as it was subjected to that drop.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 according to Forbes is also able to survive in water, even better than the iPhone 7. It was tested being immersed under water for 30 minutes and survived. Not only can it survive a 1,000-foot drop, water is also not a detriment. Note though that Samsung Galaxy S7's speaker produced muffled sound after the water immersion test. Muffled, but still working.
The old Nokia 3310 is a given. It withstood the test of time. As it was resurrected very recently, reports say that the new Nokia 3310 is not as durable and strong as the original. The old one can be dropped time and time again but will still work perfectly. Its battery life is also insane as it can go for days in just one charging.

Aside from the old Nokia 3310, both the iPhone 7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 are tough and durable devices. Both are able to withstand any tests, may it involve elements such as height and water. Both are also known to be notoriously expensive, however, it is worth it. The iPhone 7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 are sure to serve its purpose and remain working for a long time.
