The battle for the best full-sized SUV continues as two players are battling it out to determine which is better among the two. The 2017 Nissan Armada and 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe are often times compared with each other as both are somehow similar in many aspects. However, if one has to go for the best SUV, then it is best to consider 2017 Ford Expedition instead.
According to Auto Trader, the changes in 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe are light. There were few updates, however, it is not too overbearing which completely changes the entire vehicle. One of its noteworthy addition is its forward low-speed automatic braking now available. The LTZ is also now known as the Premier which gives it a more recognizable definition as a more luxurious version of the Tahoe.
The 2017 Nissan Armada, on the other hand, is considered smaller than its usual size. However, don't be fooled by the smaller size as it reported that it provides a more comfortable and luxurious ride and appeal. It also is reported to be more capable of the weight reduction added to its performance.
Unfortunately, the 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe has received a good number of complaints regarding its electrical system and interior accessories. However, these issues were ruled out as special cases so Tahoe's reliability is still considered average to above average.
It is also reported that the 2017 Nissan Armada is a little better to drive compared to the 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe as acceleration is relatively sluggish and steering is slow. However, note that Armada also comes with its misgivings in driving experience such that it is also as cumbersome as the Tahoe. It only is considered better because of its smaller size and better ground clearance for off-roading.

Both the 2017 Nissan Armada and 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe are good and somehow bad in its own way. If one is not too strict to choose just between the two options, it is best to look the other way, drive down to other block and visit a Ford dealership to try the 2017 Ford Expedition. It is considered a better option and answers the quirks and qualms brought about by the Armada and Tahoe.
According to The Car Connection, the 2017 Ford Expedition is considerably stronger and has a higher mpg engine. It also boasts of a ride that is smoother and even quieter than before, something that both the Armada and Tahoe are struggling with. Though Armada is considered smaller than the Tahoe, the 2017 Ford Expedition drives even smaller than how it actually looks.
The 2017 Ford Expedition also has an impressive twin turbo V-6. It is also powerful capable of producing 365-horsepower and 9,200-pound towing capacity. Its EPA is also the best compared to Armada and Tahoe. It also is safe as it rated with good crash test scores from NHTSA.
At the end of the day, buyers will definitely have their own choice in terms of going for the full-sized SUV they desire. Some would easily go for the 2017 Nissan Armada without even considering others which may also be the same case for the 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe. However, for the best performance, the best bet will definitely be the 2017 Ford Expedition.
