The all-new Lamborghini Huracán Performante recently released a teaser video ahead of its official unveiling at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. Previously spied only in its prototype form, the video showcases the Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva package for the fastest Lambo while gobble up the iconic Nürburgring.
The hard-core version of the Huracán might just be the fastest Lamborghini ever in the company. Plus, news carried by the wind noted that the Lamborghini Huracán Performante has set a new record for production cars at the Nürburgring, beating to the punch Porsche 918 Spyder's time of 6:57 in 2013, reports MotorAuthority.

Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva (ALA). The 44-second video is aptly titled "Nürburgring was dominated by ALA (Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva)." It basically shows how the new system works in order for the Lamborghini Huracán Performante to deliver smashingly fast and beastly performance on the track.
Based on the ALA, it includes an active front spoiler and a rear wing, channelling flowing air in different directions. TopGear explains if the ALA system is off, the two flaps remain closed and delivers maximum downforce. On the other hand, when the ALA system is on, they are opened thanks to an electric motor found in the center of the splitter. This allows for a boost in airflow and reduced drag and underbody pressure.
Meanwhile, the rear wing is forged from carbon-fiber elements, one of the few part of the Lamborghini Huracán Performante. Actually, it is hollow and the two upright supports have airboxes at their bases. Each contains motorized flaps.
Regarding the vehicle powertrain, Lamborghini has not officially released numbers as of this writing. But speculations noted that this could be an uprated version of the Huracan's 5.2-liter V10 delivering 601 horses and 435lb-ft or torque.
To know more about this powerful beast, then we have to wait until March comes as the Lamborghini Huracán Performante makes its official debut and will set the record straight as to who can actually conquer the iconic Nürburgring.
