A new off-road model has been confirmed to be on the working table. Mercedes has released a teaser photo speculated to reveal the new AMG G65 4x4 Convertible. However, others also think it might be the new Mercedes-Benz Maybach G650.
The German automaker took to its social media account a teaser photo introducing the upcoming 4x4 Convertible speculated to be the Mercedes-Benz G65 AMG 4x4. The photo gave only a glimpse of the rear end of the new wild car.
The teaser photo revealed only a few details on the design of the new car's rear end. The 22-inch spare allow wheel can be spotted in the image.

The new 4x4 looks stunning with its body paint job. It is interesting to spot the stunning metallic teal body of the new off-roader.
The photo also reveals the new off-roader sports the carbon fiber wheel arches and a huge central brake light resting on top of the spare wheel.
Furthermore, the teaser photo confirms that the new off-roader will come out as barely muscular. The photo reveals the new off-roader has no roof.
Although the new off-roader looks tough, the new model seems to have some soft touches too. The tan-colored leather, which appears to be the folded convertible roofing, can also be spotted behind the spare wheel. In addition, a small glimpse of the leather-covered interiors was shown too.
With regard to what is underneath the hood, Auto Express mentioned that the plate number on the new off-roader from Mercedes-Benz seems to suggest that the new 4x4 will carry the AMG's 621 bhp 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 engine. The new 4x4 will have the ability to overcome the toughest driving conditions via this new engine, as well improved speed.
In another report, it seems that the new 4x4 teased on the photo is not the anticipated AMG G65. Carscoops notes that the released teaser photo refers to the new Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet.
What do you think of the teaser photo? Is it the new AMG 4x4 G65 or the Maybach G650? Watch out for our next update soon.
