The 2017 GMC Canyon might not be the ideal big truck many prefer but it can be the ideal choice for a midsize pickup. It is not the compact pickup that users had once experienced but the GMC Canyon has all the features befitting a premium midsize pickup.
As reported by Car Connection, there are many options that one can do with the 2017 Canyon. GMC is offering these options to meet whatever specifications a user desires in a midsize pickup.
While the basic price of the truck is low at $22,000-level, the price of the 2017 Grand Canyon can go as high as $45,000 for the premium trim like the GMC Canyon Denali. Those who prefer a work truck can go for the GMC Canyon SL since it is difficult to find an available basic model in the market.
The 2017 Canyon SL has the usual basic features like power windows, stereo sounds system with USB port, the 4-way manual recline driver's seat, air conditioning and the standard 4-cylinder gas engine. In addition, the Canyon SL has carpeted flooring, cloth upholstery, and the option for the 3.6-liter V6 engine.
The popular Canyon SLE attracts more buyers than the basic and SL models. It features the touchscreen infotainment system linked with GM's Interlink, the SiriusXM Satellite Radio, leather-wrapped adjustable telescope steering sector, cruise control system and the Goodyear All-Terrain package.
For the GMC Canyon SLT model, the automatic climate control and dual power seats in leather wraps are added. The 2017 Canyon Denali has the same additions plus the 20-inch alloy wheels, heating steering wheels, air conditioned and heated front seats, navigational controls, forward collision and lane off-course warning, Both the SLT and Denali have the options for the V6 or the turbodiesel engine.
Both the GMC Canyon and Chevrolet Colorado look similar but with minor differences. In style, the Colorado can be compared with the much bigger Silverado and the Canyon to the GMC Sierra. The GMC Canyon has all the features desirable in a premium GMC Sierra midsize truck.
