Gamers of "Legend of Zelda" can now experience the real-life adaptation of the game series with Escape Room Experience. Real Escape Game by SCRAP, in collaboration with "The Legend of Zelda", will launch their "Defenders of The Triforce" escape room gaming experience this January 31, 2017, in San Francisco.
Real-life experience will be offered to a group of 6 people for "Zelda: Defenders of Triforce", IGN reported. This life puzzle escape game is based on "Legend of Zelda" video game series which is fully hosted with a story-based escape event for puzzles that is not just a typical escape room experience offered by SCRAP. Multiple teams will be given their own table when not exploring to work with their puzzles and each team is given individual tasks to solve.
For those who are not familiar with the game, you can still enter this escape room experience. It is not a requirement to know certain information about the game. There is no age limit for participants of the game, but children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult. You can do cosplay, but the event organizers strongly emphasize that gamers should refrain from using sharp weapons or harmful paraphernalia. There will be photo opportunities, but posting photographic spoilers is not allowed.
Doug Bowser, NoA's Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, conducted a press release illustrating the escape room even of "Legend of Zelda: Defenders of Triforce" as a new perspective to the whole game series, Nintendo Life indicated. A whole new real-life "Legend of Zelda" experience is promised by the organizers of this event.
Doug Browser explained that participants who are working in six groups are tasked to solve a mystery with a set time limit to be held in a huge area prepared by the organizers, not just in a locked room. Classic items seen in the Legend of Zelda series will interact with the gamers, as familiarized with the tribes of Goron, Zora, and Kokiri. The discovered items help solve the puzzles which allow the gamers to advance into other areas of the game, similar to the "Legend of Zelda" game set-up.
The real-life escape room experience of "Zelda: Defenders of Triforce" will be released to 8 U.S. cities which include San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Phoenix, Houston, Chicago, and New York. Tickets and more information are accessed through the SCRAP website.
