GLM G4 Electric Supercar Reaches Paris, Japan Market, Model Prices Revealed

During the 2016 Paris Motor Show, the brand new GLM G4 electric supercar was showcased as the company's new flagship model. It was also revealed during the event that such model would be available for purchase in both Parisian and Japanese markets.

Last week, the brand new GLM G4 electric supercar was revealed to the public. Years ago, GLM co-worked with racecar maker, Tommykaira, to furnish the Tesla Tommykaira ZZ EV. On top of which, it was also revealed that GLM will offer another model as one of its flagship models.

Exteriors/Interiors

As reported by Auto Blog, the brand new GLM G$ electric supercar has an electric powertrain and boosted of lightweight composite materials. It also had four doors that opened up dramatically which paved the way to more accommodating rows of seating.

The car was featured in a grey-on-white ensemble, had leather bucket seats, and had a flat-bottomed steering wheel. For an electric car, the model seemed luxurious and looked comfortable to drive in.

The Specs

The GLM G4 electric supercar generated 400kW or 536 horsepower and boosts of 737 lb-ft. The four-seater model accelerated from 0-62 mph in only 3.7 seconds and was recorded to have a top speed of 155 mph.

It also has a torque-splitting system that retorts to complex drive modes and road conditions which improved its traction from all of its wheels. Furthermore, the multi-stage transmission allowed the model to generate 248 miles on the NEDC cycle.

The electric supercar was initially designed in Netherlands by Savage Rivale who incorporated a V-8 engine to the vehicle. However, Tesla was not content with the product that they worked with GLM to adapt the design and transform it into an electric drive system instead, reported Motor Trend.

Unit Price

The brand new GLM G4 electric supercar which was featured during the 2016 Paris Auto Show may be purchased for a price of $224,400. The production of which would occur in Japan and will be available firstly in Paris and Japan markets soon.
