The surprise Netflix hit of the summer, "Stranger Things" will soon have a sequel, the confirmation for the same coming via a short YouTube video.
Unfortunately, there is precious little that the YouTube announcement reveals, except that it will be set in the backdrop of 'small-town' Indiana during the fall of 1984. The episode titles have been revealed, though. Also with nine episodes to look forward to, the upcoming season of "Stranger Things" will no doubt be more exciting than the Season one that had only eight episodes.
Meanwhile, here are the nine episodes as revealed by NME.
1. MadMax
2. The Boy Who Came Back To Life
3. The Pumpkin Patch
4. The Palace
5. The Storm
6. The Pollywog
7. The Secret Cabin
8. The Brain
9. The Lost Brother
As for the cast for the new series, producers Ross and Matt Duffer have confirmed the participation of Mike, Dustin, Joyce, and Lucas though it is not known for now if Eleven will make it, too. There will be four new cast members that would feature in season two. It is not known if any of those will be replacing Eleven.
Eleven, played by Millie B. Brown had sacrificed herself as the children scampered for ways to deal with the strange or paranormal ordeal they faced. The Duff brothers did mention the new series will answer those questions that were left unanswered during season one.
One of the new characters been announced is Max, a 12 to 14-year-old girl who is being described as 'tough and confident'. That coupled with a new episode "Mad Max" that also happens to be the only one to not have a preposition has led many to speculate will be dedicated to Max and will set the tone for the remaining episodes to follow.
Max will also have a brother named Billy who, according to the Telegraph, is also being described as hyper-confident, just like his sister. Billy will also have rippling muscles and drives a Camaro in the show.
However, the one pertinent question uppermost in everyone's mind is whether Eleven will be there. Guess we got to wait longer to find that out.
