Ford has teamed up with Xbox to create cool new Elite wireless controllers based on the automaker's beautiful car designs, reported Windows Central.

Starting with an elegant Liquid blue finish featured on the latest Ford GT, the concept controller is made of a carbon fiber that is both durable and light. The Ford GT steering wheel provided direction on the shape and ergonomic positioning of the left thumbstick, as well as paddles for shifting that mimic the design of the Ford GT. The custom paint job of the controller matched Ford GT's specifications, noted Techniblogic.

The teal blue controller, which is inspired by the 1964 Shelby Daytona Coupe, has a see-through battery door and custom battery pack inspired by the engine compartment and EcoBoost V6 engine. All of the Xbox wireless controllers feature the see through battery door, according to Ford Motor Company.

An interesting fact: Bob Bondurant and Dan Gurney won an American coup in the GT class of Le Mans, finishing fourth overall while driving the Shelby Daytona Coupe powered by the Ford 4.7L V8.

There's also the sporty red Xbox controller design based on the 1967 Ford GT Mark IV. The left thumbstick shape is inspired by the GT steering wheel, as it's angled towards the player gives a more ergonomic experience. A horizontal movement limiter also ensures efficiency and accuracy in steering.

Another fun fact: Ford defended its Le Mans title in 1967 in the “race of the century" in front of a record 300,000 spectators, as drivers Dan Gurney and AJ Foyt broke through the 5,000 km mark for the first time.

Last, but not least, we have the black and white wireless controller echoing the 1966 Ford GT Mark II sleek black and white car design. This Ford race car made history in 1966 when it placed first, second and third won overall at Le Mans.

These three unique design concepts were created by Xbox to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of Ford’s historic wins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
