Retired ring king Floyd Mayweather Jr. has dropped $3.5 million on a 2015 Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse, according to Black Sports Online magazine.
No stranger to buying Bugattis, Mayweather, who says that he's a car collector, opened up his garage to reporters earlier this year to show his two Bugatti Veyrons priced at $1.6 million each, reported Car Scoops magazine.
The former professional boxer has an extensive luxury car collection. He owns a Bentley Mulsanne, a Rolls-Royce droptop, a few Ferraris (599, 458), a Rolls-Royce Phantom, a Lamborghini Aventador, a Mercedes SL and other gorgeous luxury vehicles.
Fusion Luxury Motors confirmed with TMZ that Mayweather bought the $3.5 million sports car and that it was delivered to him on Monday in Miami.
"Floyd called me up and told me he wants to broker this Bugatti deal so I flew out to Miami on Saturday to work the deal and we just got it done," Obi Okeke of Fusion Luxury Motors said.
"The Bugatti is brand new and the last one for sale in the world," Okeke added.
The new Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds and has a top speed of 407 km/h, according to the company's website.
