Last week we got a sneak peak at PSC Motors SP-200 SIN in the form of teaser photos and approximate performance figures, which left us impressed.
Now we have a clearer picture at what car buyers can expect if they're lucky enough to even get behind the wheel of this sweet ride. We don't think you'll be disappointed.
What we like?
When it comes to the new SP-200 SIN the first thing that pops out is the performance numbers PSC is boosting. Here's what we mean by that:
-zero to 60 acceleration in 2.6 seconds
-top speed of 280 mph
-60 miles on electric power (a 30-mile improvement)
-2,400 horsepower, up from 1,700 hp
If the car lives up to those performance figures we'll be extremely impressed.
What's new?
PSC CEO said in a statement this week that when the project started in 2009 they wanted to create something new while honoring past race cars.
The reason the SP-200 SIN is so powerful is due to a twin-turbocharged 9.0-liter V8 that works with an electric motor. The electric motor is no slouch, adding 750 hp to the 1,650 hp offered by the gasoline engine, according to the Las Vegas-based automaker.
Can I buy it?
PSC is taking orders for the first five of 35 PSC SP-200 SIN vehicles now and production is set to begin in 2016.
