Audi of America has announced that its 2015 Audi R8 coupe will be sold for a base price of $117,150, including a destination fee of $1,250 destination charge,

Audi's price reflects a $1,000 increase compared to the price of its 2014 model.

The top-of-the-line 2015 R8 V10 Plus S Tronic coupe will be available for $183,750, including shipping, according to the automaker.

Audi of America announced 2015 R8 pricing officially in a release last week on July 2 to get fans excited for the new R8.

"The R8 model line will also feature a new Limited Edition performance package that will be communicated at a later date," Audi said in a statement last week.

The base 2015 Audi R8 V8 Spyder has been listed for $130,650, including shipping.

Interested customers can expect minor changes for the 2015 model.

Changes include new exterior paint colors and optional painted red brake calipers.

Other features listed by the automaker includes a new quilted leather interior package in silver and a new diamond-stitched Alcantara headliner.

The brand new Audi A8 coupe is expected to compete with similar vehicles like the Aston Martin DB9 and Porsche 911.

Expect the 2015 Audi R8 to reach dealerships later on this summer.
