Hyundai Motors has announced that its base 2015 Elantra sedan will be available for a base price of $18,060, including a shipping fee of $810.
Hyundai's price reflects a $50 increase compared to the 2014 model.
The automaker's top-of-the-line 2015 Elantra Sport with a six-speed automatic transmission will be available for $23,410, including shipping.
The Elantra is a carryover model for 2015, though it did receive a few changes, according to a company release.
Hyundai confirmed that the new Elantra will come with additional packaging options and updated colors.
Hyundai's Elantra Sport model gets a new Tech package that is available to customers for $1,200. The package comes with a premium audio system, Hyundai Blue Link telematics system, a navigation system with a 7-inch screen, and a complimentary trial of Hyundai Blue Link Connected Care, according to the release.
The Elantra SE adds a new Style package priced at $750.
The package comes with project headlights with LED accents, chrome beltline molding, a power sunroof, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, and aluminum entrance sills.
The Style package requires the SE A/T Popular Equipment package, according to Hyundai. The package costs an extra $900.
The new Elantra will compete with similar models like 2014-'15 Ford Focus, Honda Civic, Mazda 3 and Toyota Corolla.
Expect the 2015 Elantra Sport to arrive at dealerships this summer.
