The new Panamera from Porsche is all set to debut at the Geneva Auto Show next month. The new vehicle is a plug-in hybrid and expected to be the most powerful Panamera ever released.

The 2018 Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid. It is said that the new Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid will be able to provide a total 680 horsepower and 626 pound-feet of torque. This is made possible due to a powertrain that is comprised of a 4.0-liter 550-horsepower V8 engine and a 136-horsepower electric motor. The vehicle's engine is mated to an eight-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission and runs on a standard all-wheel drive system.

This plug-in hybrid is able to go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 3.2 seconds. It will be able to clock in at a top speed of 192 miles per hour.

The new Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid sports a 14.1kW lithium-ion battery pack. The vehicle can go as far as 31 miles on just a single charge. The battery pack takes more or less 12 hours to charge via a 120-volt 10-amp plug. It can charge hours faster using a 240-volt 40-amp plug. Features of the 2018 Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid include a 12.3-inch display touchscreen with the Porsche Communication Management System, air suspension, ceramic composite brakes, Torque Vectoring Plus, and the Sport Chrono package.

The vehicle will come in a standard wheelbase and an executive wheelbase. The former is to retail starting at US$185,450. The executive wheelbase, on the other hand, will retail starting at US$195,850. The new Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is expected to hit dealerships by the end of the year.

Nothing else is currently known about the car as of the moment. The 2018 Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid will make its official debut at the Geneva Auto Show which will be held starting March 9 to March 19, 2017.
