"Fairy Tail" is confirmed to be in its final arc as announced on its official website. Reports are circulating that the remaining chapters may end before or after the release of the "Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry" movie on May 6, 2017. Fans are also anticipating the much awaited battle in Chapter 524: Dark Future.
The "Fairy Tail" website showed the Final arc teaser but did not provide any specific date of its ending. It's followers are hoping that it could stretch the series a bit just like what happened to previous manga shows.
It also announced that the Manga series has already produced 60 million printed copies worldwide.The website mentioned that the "Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry" movie is part of its 10th year anniversary of the series (launched in 2006) plus its 277th episodes, Crunchyroll cited.
On its Chapter 524: Dark Future episode of the Yonkou Productions, Acnologia arrived without Irene and Wendy recognizing him. But a confrontation ensued. Acnologia mentioned that Irene is his mother and he called her "My Sin" while attacking her.
Next scene: Natsu is up against Zeref who told him that he lost the Power of Igneil already. However, Natsu told him that he still has his "own" power. Zeref mentioned that in order to save humanity Natsu should die.

Meanwhile, Manga reviewers commented that indeed the creator Hiro Mashima is very much into the film, making sure all the details are correctly executed. Kodasha's Weekly Shonen Magazine revealed that the movie will include its original casts members like pretty Sonia, Zash and the well dressed Animus.
It reported that Natsu, Lucy, Happy, Gray, Erza, Wendy and Carla will also be included as returning characters. The producer of the film will be the creator himself with Tatsuma Minamikawa as his director. Shoji Yonemuraas will be the screenplay writer and Yasuharu Takanashi as the music director.
It can be recalled that the first film "Fairy Tail" The Movie: Phoenix Priestess was released in August 2012 and it was only last May 2015 that Kodansha's weekly Shone Magazine announced that it will have another movie, according to Anime News Network. Surely, fans will not miss the chance to watch the upcoming "Fairy tail: Dragon Cry."
