Microsoft's Xbox One is now available for preorder in China through mobile carrier China Telecom.
The console became available for preorder on July 28 through JD.com, China's second-largest e-commerce company based on market share, according to Reuters.
Preorders, which end today (July 30), will also be taken through the mobile social networks Mobile QQ and WeChat, both of which are owned by Tencent Holdings.
Tencent Holdings has a 17.6 percent stake in JD.com.
The Xbox One is scheduled to reach China in September, a deal which could mean millions of new customers for Microsoft.
China banned sales of foreign-made came consoles under the belief that the devices cause mental harm to children.
The ban was lifted back in January, according to Reuters. The Xbox One will be the first console available in China since the ban was lifted.
Manufacturers can now try selling to a country where some of their products had previously reached customers through the black market.
China Telecom granted Microsoft access to 104 million broadband subscribers.
A picture leaked last week by Chinese website WPDang shows the price of the console in China will be available for 3,499 Chinese Yuan or RMB ($565), including tax, three games and some coupons, according to WPCentral.
A launch date and price haven't been set yet for the console officially, China Telecom said to Reuters.
