The 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT showcases the brand's most powerful V8 engine of all time, rated at 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque.
Expected in Dodge dealerships in the third quarter of this year, the Challenger is "the most powerful muscle car ever," according to Chrysler, Edmunds.com reported.
Pricing on the new Challenger, which features a 6.2-liter V8 Hellcat engine, should be announced later in the summer.
The muscle car will come with two key fobs, red and black, in the standard trim.
"The red key fob is the only key that can unlock the full 707 hp and torque potential of the Challenger SRT Hellcat engine," Chrysler said in a statement. "While the black key fob limits the driver to a reduced engine output of 500 hp."
The Challenger compares with General Motors' 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, which runs on a new LT4 supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine rated at 650 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque, according to the automaker.
