The 2015 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe will reach dealerships in the second half of 2014, according to a General Motors press release.
The Cadillac CTS-V Coupe will have a limited-edition run of 500 vehicles.
Pricing will be announced officially closer to the vehicle's debut.
Several options were priced by the automaker however, including a $995 Black Diamond exterior paint option, and a $700 sunroof option, according to GM.
The automaker is currently developing the next-generation V-Series models, which will debut sometime next year.
The special-edition CTS-V coupe comes equipped with Brembo brakes, Magnetic Ride Control, and a 556-horsepower supercharged V8 engine.
Customers have the option to choose either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.
Other features confirmed by the automaker includes:
-an Ebony interior with red contrast stitching
-metal pedals
-dark-finish V grille
-satin graphite wheels
-Midnight Sapele wood trim
-Recaro performance seats
-a microfiber suede-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob
-red brake calipers
Cadillac expects the CTS-V Coupe to compete with the 2014 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG, high-end versions of the BMW 5 Series, among other vehicles.
