Nissan has unveiled its new 2015 Versa Sedan ahead of its formal debut this week at the 2014 New York Auto Show.
Photos released by the company reveals an updated look for the Versa compared to its predecessor.
Versa fans can expect bigger headlights, a bulkier fascia, and chrome covers over the grille.
Inside the vehicle the steering wheel and center stack have both been updated. Interior and trunk volume remain the same however at 90.2 and 14.9 cubic feet, according to the release.
The vehicle is powered by a 1.6-L 4-cylinder engine, producing 109 hp, according to Nissan.
It has been rated at 35 mpg combined, according to the release.
"Versa Sedan is the entry point for the dynamic Nissan sedan lineup, attracting many first-time new car buyers to the brand," said Pierre Loing, Nissan's Vice President of Product Planning said in a statement. "It's critical that we keep Versa's look and feel fresh and its value equation high, with a rewarding driving and ownership experience."
Interested customers will be able to purchase the new Versa Sedan on April 16.
Nissan has listed the vehicle for a base price of $11,990.
The 2014 New York International Auto Show opens to the public on April 18 at the Javits Center.
