Nissan teased its redesigned 2015 Nissan Murano crossover ahead of its world debut at the New York Auto Show on April 16.
The teaser imagine released by the automaker shows nothing but the vehicle's cat-eye headlight.
"The Murano previews a new Nissan design language for future Nissan production vehicles," the automaker said in a statement this week. "Along with its innovative styling, the 2015 Nissan Murano features a spacious, premium interior and advanced, purposeful safety and connective technology."
The new Murano's styling cues will likely be drawn from the Nissan Resonance concept.
The Resonance concept was unveiled back at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show by the automaker.
Interested customers can expect the 2015 Murano to share a front-drive vehicle platform with the Nissan Altima and Pathfinder, according to Edmunds.
Nissan's new crossover competes with similar vehicles like the Ford Edge, and Honda CR-V, along with other vehicles.
Pricing for the vehicle has not been announced yet by the automaker.
The new Murano is expected to hit dealerships sometime this fall.
