Volvo has confirmed that the base 2015 Volvo V60 Sportswagon will be sold for $36,215, including a $915 destination fee, according to a report by Edmunds.
The V60 Sportswagon is the first of its kind to be sold in the U.S. and will start arriving at showrooms later on this month.
The base 2015 V60 comes will be the first Volvo vehicle to come equipped with the automaker's all-new 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine.
The base vehicle comes with a 240-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, according to the Edmunds report.
Volvo confirmed that the midrange V60 T5 AWD Premier Plus option will be available for a base price of $40,265, including the shipping fee.
Also confirmed by the automaker this week was the base price for the top-of-the-line V60 T6 AWD R-Design Platinum vehicle, which will be sold for $48,215, including shipping.
The vehicle can be ordered with five- or six-cylinder engines, according to Volvo.
Volvo's new vehicle compete's with similar vehicles like the 2014 Acura TSX Sport Wagon, Audi Allroad, BMW 328i xDrive Sports Wagon and the Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon.
