American Honda Motor Co. has announced it's recalling 7,387 2014 Acura RLX vehicles to repair rear suspension bolts that might not have been tightened enough, according to a company statement released this weekend.
"It is possible that one or more of the eight bolts that attach several rear suspension components were not tightened properly," said Honda in a statement.
The recall is expected to begin this January.
No customer crashes or injuries have been reported related to the recall, American Honda said.
No information about the recall has been posted on the Web site of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, which oversees vehicle recalls in the U.S.
Acura dealers are being told to inspect each vehicle and tighten the bolts.
"A bolt that is not properly fastened could loosen over time and fall out, possibly allowing a portion of the rear suspension to move out of proper alignment, increasing the risk of a crash," said Honda.
