The 2015 Chevrolet Sonic Dusk and the 2015 Chevrolet Sonic RS Sedan are both set to make an appearance at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, according to General Motors.
Both vehicles will become available for purchase sometime in 2014.
GM has released barely any information about its two new vehicles yet, but a teaser photo of the Sonic Dusk was issued by the automaker to get people excited.
The production version of the Sonic Dusk will come equipped with a 190-horsepower 1.4-liter turbocharged engine, according to Michael Albano, a Chevrolet spokesman, who spoke with Edmunds.
The 2015 Chevrolet Sonic RS Sedan has been called the companion vehicle to the 2014 Chevrolet Sonic RS Hatchback. Albano said to Edmunds that the sedan option will come with the same 138-hp Ecotec 1.4-liter turbocharged engine as the hatchback.
"The hatchback has been a big success," Albano said.
The Chevrolet Sonic Dusk Concept was shown off at the 2011 SEMA Show and received an "overwhelmingly positive" reaction from fans and writers alike, according to GM.
A production model of the Sonic Dusk was originally expected for the 2014 model year, but now will be released as a 2015 model.
Pricing for the new vehicles has yet to be announced and likely won't be revealed until at least next summer.
Make sure to check back after the new vehicles are unveiled officially later this week.
