Reality star Kim Kardashian got a special birthday surprise for her 33rd.
Her current flame, Kanye West, 36, popped the big question Monday night, surprising Kardashian in front of their friends and family at AT&T Park in San Francisco, E! News reported.
West rented out the stadium for the important occasion, coming to the Bay Area just a couple of hours after presenting at the 2013 Hollywood Film Awards. The rapper is on tour promoting his most recent album, "Yeezus".
The newly engaged pair, who welcomed baby daughter North West in June, have been the subject of marriage rumors for more than a year, with Kardashian's mom, Kris Jenner, telling E! News all the way back in August 2012 that the family "adored" Kanye and "we think they make an amazing couple. We just want them to be happy."
Jenner was reportedly over the moon at the engagement.
"A match made in heaven!" Jenner called the betrothed couple, exclusively telling E! News, "I am so happy for both of my kids, Kim and Kanye."
This will be the third wedding for Kardashian, 33, who filed for divorce from basketball star Kris Humphries in 2011 after just 72 days of marriage. Her first marriage to music producer Damon Thomas ended in divorce in 2004, according to PEOPLE.
While Kardashian didn't seem to be in a hurry for a third marriage, the reality starlet has been open about her commitment to the relationship.
"[Marriage] is something I know that we both want in our future, but I don't have this sense of urgency about it," Kardashian recently told Cosmopolitan. "I have this best friend who understands me and helps me through all my tough experiences, and vice versa, you know? It just feels like this is it for me."
Kardashian will further celebrate her birthday this weekend with a party at the Venetian hotel in Las Vegas.
