"Fast and Furious 7" will begin filming next month according to multiple media outlets.
At least one big race scene will take place in Colorado, as Universal is prepared to spend $7 million shooting the scene.
Universal will bring in its own stunt drivers and crew, instead of hiring locals, according to WestwordBlogs.com.
Filming will take around three or four weeks.
Another key scene is scheduled to take place in Atlanta according to AcessAtlanta.com.
A casting call was put out seeking extras for the movie this week, as Universal is looking for "Middle Eastern men who have experience as mechanics."
Actress Michelle Rodriguez, who plays Letty Ortiz in the franchise, confirmed back in May that the seventh movie would begin filming this September.
Her co-star Vin Diesel confirmed in a separate interview that filming will take place in locations like the Middle East and Tokyo.
A plot hasn't been announced for the next film officially, but director James Wan said he wants the seventh film to be "gritty."
"I really like the theme of this next one that we're going with. I can't really talk about it, but I like the theme; it's one that I really relate to," Wan said according to Indiewire.com.
A number of new faces are expected for the next film like Jason Statham and UFC fighter Ronda Rousey. Statham was shown at the end of "Fast and Furious 6" and is believed to be the next big villain.
Oscar-winner Halle Berry, "Twilight" veteran Taylor Lautner, and pop-star Rihanna have all be rumored for the next film as well.
Rousey is still in negotiations to join the cast of "Fast and Furious 7," and nothing is official as of press time.
The film is scheduled to be released on July 11, 2014.
