General Motors has announced that its redesigned 2015 Cadillac Escalade will be unveiled for the first time at a media event in New York City this October.
The event is scheduled to take place on Oct. 7, according to GM, who sent invitations out to the press this week.
No further details have been revealed regarding the event or the new model.
"See the bold, evolutionary statement that is the next-generation Escalade," the invite reads. "And see its story, as captured by famed indie rock photographer Autumn de Wilde."
The redesigned model is expected to have a similar body to its predecessor, though its interior will see a major upgrade according to The Detroit Free Press.
Through the first seven months of the year, as GM has sold 12,638 models so far. This is thanks to popular vehicles like the XTS and ATS according to GM.
A new 2014 CTS will start appearing at showrooms by the end of 2013.
Approximately 10 new or redesigned Cadillac models will be introduced by mid-2015 according to GM.
The new model is expected to go on sale sometime during next spring. By then it will have been approximately eight years since the current version was first released.
