Apple will reportedly hold a meeting for the press to introduce its next smartphone device on Sept. 10, but it might take until Oct. 25 for the phone to be released to the public.
A report by Techmaniacs confirmed the September meeting, but it also added that the company won't release the device the same week as the event like it usually does.
The report claims Apple might try getting the iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2 on Oct. 25, along with the iPhone 5s and a possible iPhone 5C device.
This would mean those who are looking for an upgrade may have to wait six weeks after the press event.

The next device is expected to come equipped with a larger battery pack, an Apple A7 processor, an improved 8-megapixel camera, and a dual-LED flash.
Apple next phone will run on the company's new operating system iOS 7, which is currently in its fifth beta test. iOS 7 will be unveiled officially at the company's press event in September.
Nothing has been confirmed officially by Apple as of press time, not even the fact that the next device will be the iPhone 5S.
Contradictory reports claimed earlier this summer that Apple will skip the iPhone 5S and instead release the iPhone 6.
