Honda's new Civic Tourer will make its public debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show this September.
The new Tourer features a roomier exterior, which Honda promises will be "sleek and sophisticated" compared to its previous model according to a company press release.
Along with Civic hatchback vehicles like the Jazz and CR-V, the new Tourer will be produced at the company's UK manufacturing plant in Swindon.
The Japanese automaker showcased a concept model earlier this year at the Geneva Motor Show.
Honda's senior engineer Adrian Killham confirmed to WorldCarFans.com that the concept model features a 1.6-l i-DTEC diesel engine.

Expect the new model in showrooms sometime in early 2014.

The Frankfurt Motor Show has been scheduled for Sept. 10 - 22 according to the show's website. The Honda Press Conference will take place on Sept. 10.
