Billy Bob Thornton has decided to step behind the camera again, this time for his movie titled "Jayne Mansfield's Car."
A trailer for the film can be seen below this article.
The movie will take place in the deep south and the short trailer already has some media outlets thinking it can be on par with Thornton's film "Sling Blade."
The story focuses on two sets of families in the 1960's from different countries, one from Alabama and another from England, according to IndieWire.com.
Thorton will star in the movie along with an award-winning cast.
Robert Duvall will play the head of the Alabama family, whereas John Hurt is the patriarch of the British family.
Other confirmed stars set to appear in the movie includes Kevin Bacon, Robert Patrick, Frances O' Connor, and Tippi Hedren.
Thorton also co-wrote the script alongside Tom Epperson according to IndieWire.com.
So what do you think of the trailer? Does Thornton's film look like it could be one of the best of the year?
