Audi officially announced that its 2014 Audi RS 7 will be sold for approximately $105,795, including the $895 destination charge.
The new Audi will be the most powerful RS model ever offered in the U.S. according to Audi.
The automaker equipped the new RS 7 with a twin-turbo 4.0-liter TFSI V8 engine capable of producing 560 horsepower.
The engine is linked to an eight-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission.
Audi claims the vehicle has a top track speed of 174 mph and can go 0 to 60 in just 3.7 seconds.
Confirmed specs include RS-specific carbon-fiber inlays, aluminum pedals, and black-faced gauges according to Audi.
Audi's MMI touch with handwriting recognition, and Audi side assist are also standard.
The RS will go against the Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG according to Edmunds.
The current CLS63 AMG is sold for $96,805. Mercedes-Benz has yet to reveal the base price for the 2014 CLS63 AMG as of press time.
Expect the new RS 7 goes on sale this fall in the U.S. according to Audi.
