A daughter was able to save her dad's life this week after she lifted a 5,600-pound Jeep off of his leg.

Adam Simmons was working on the SUVs brakes in the driveway of their home when the jacks supporting the vehicle collapsed. One of the wheel rotor's fell right on his leg trapping Simmons under the car.

"All of a sudden, it collapsed towards me, landed on my leg, pinning me right to the ground," Simmons said according to CBS Boston.

Simmons said his daughter Rachel was inside the house when she heard her father screaming in pain.

"I ran out of the house and I saw him under my car," Rachel said according CBS Boston. "I just lifted so he could get free. It was just the adrenaline rushing right through my body. I don't know if I would have been able to do it otherwise."

Her dad suffered no broken bones, but did sustain heavy bruising and a few lacerations.

After he was freed, Simmons was taken to a nearby hospital and doctors told him had he been under the car any longer artery or blood flow problems could have occurred according to the Huffington Post.

"She's my hero for it," Adam said according to the Huffington Post. "I don't know what would have happened if she wasn't here to rescue me."
